Beginning with a workshop day on 9 May, followed by two conference days, memoQfest 2012 will be an opportunity to learn about industry trends and Kilgray’s latest developments, attend workshops, discuss best practices, take part in social events, and exchange information with translators, language service providers, and translation end users.
Plunet will be releasing the latest version of Plunet BusinessManager, its leading business and translation management system, at the end of this year. The new Plunet release will feature a much simpler system for managing and processing translation projects. Plunet's expanded interfaces to CAT systems have been further developed in order to continue to delight project managers with its user friendliness.
The new version of Plunet offers an expanded dynamic interface to memoQ server 5.0, which means Plunet will feature the most far-reaching integration of a business and workflow management system with memoQ. The Plunet memoQManager interface allows project managers to easily create, control and handle entire memoQ translation projects within Plunet. The interface is impressive thanks to its workflow flexibility and user-friendly automation of various processes. The synchronization of both systems saves the project manager valuable time switching between Plunet and memoQ and ensures that all of the information and files that are relevant to the project are always available.
“The new developments are a direct result of our customer-oriented approach as we have heeded the advice of our existing users to devise a solution with even greater precision and flexibility, allowing for Worx 2.3 to be better customised to satisfy specific business needs”, said Philip McConnell, Head of Software Development.
New features of Worx 2.3 include:
• Enhanced integration with SDL Trados Studio 2009
• Better automation of the quoting process.
• A reshape of the supplier-oriented functions to create a more complete solution.
• Improved management of Purchase Orders.
• Reduced time, effort, and cost of large multilingual projects. Read More...
