Recently, the company released the newest version of its popular management platform. XTRF 2014 Winter includes almost 100 improvements and new features. Two of the most widely acclaimed new functions include Custom Fields and Job Manager.
Job Manager: Improving Buyer/Supplier Collaboration
The next step toward introducing a new Vendor Portal, the Job Manager offers a simple and accessible interface for transferring files between the translation department and its vendors. Instead of using a complicated FTP process, translators simply click a link in the confirmation email to access the Job Manager, check the job details and download/upload files. And all files are safely sent and stored in the XTRF.
Custom Fields: Advanced Flexibility
The XTRF 2014 Winter version brings flexibility to a brand new level by giving users the capacity to add custom fields. An easy creation module allows the user to select inter alia a name, the scope and type, and the items for selection. The new fields are editable and can be displayed and exported like all normally-available XTRF fields.
