Plunet and Delingua give Finnish Students valuable Insights into Project Management in Translations Agencies
In a groundbreaking effort, a group of seven translation companies and four developers of language technology software have come together in Finland to offer a brand new course to the translation students at the University of Helsinki. Industry professionals from Finnish language service providers AAC Global, AranchoDoc Nordic, Delingua, Lingsoft, Maris Multilingual and Semantix as well as technology experts from Kilgray, Memsource, Plunet and SDL will cover different portions of the course content. The course will run as an independent regional project with affiliations to both GALA’s Global Talent programme and ELIA’s Exchange initiative. XTRF Joins TAUS

XTRF Management Systems Ltd. has recently joined TAUS. The Translation Automation User Society brings together corporations, companies and universities interested in developing translation technologies. XTRF is already a member of such industry organizations as GALA, ELIA, ALC, and LT-Innovate.
TAUS was founded at the turn of 2004 and 2005 as a forum for people involved in machine translation technologies. The goal line of joining the organisation is to strengthen co-operation with the translation market technology players and to stay up-to-date with major trends within the translation industry.
