Plunet BusinessManager Receives EN 15038 Certification

Plunet BusinessManager, the business and translation management system used by leading translation agencies, is now certified to the EN 15038:2006-08 quality standard. The certification was carried out by the renowned Austrian Standards Plus institute in accordance with the LICS® certification scheme and applies to the current Plunet version 5.4.
EN 15038-certified translation agencies and language service providers working with Plunet BusinessManager and completing the relevant training, will now ‘automatically’ meet the process criteria for the European standard, as these can be mapped in their entirety in Plunet.

Plunet CEO Peter Seltsam is delighted with the certification: “We are effectively covering each and every requirement of the standard with Plunet BusinessManager – which will result in direct benefits for many of our customers in their day-to-day business.” The graduate linguist and automation expert is particularly proud of the holistic approach of the program’s EN 15038 feature support, which encompasses business as well as translation processes: “We have placed particular emphasis on the request, quote, and order management, which represent the core aspects of project management. The Plunet job and workflow management also allows the seamless mapping of the actual translation process – of course always in accordance with the requirements of EN 15038”, Peter Seltsam explains.
In addition to these core components, Plunet BusinessManager also fulfills all other elements of the standard.
